Demystify Photoshop with this step by step intensive, taught by John Dearing, a visiting Photography Professor from Winthrop University. John will cover the fundamentals of Photoshop CS5 and CS6 and will provide a srong foundation from which you can build upon. You will gain a confident understanding of the basics of the Tools (lasso, move tool, marquee, eyedropper, magic wand, clone stamp, healing brush, etc...), the Palettes (Adjustments, layers, color channels etc...) and Menu functions. This class is open to beginners as well as students who have generally explored Photoshop and Elements but need a more structured and directed approach to step-by-step problem solving and creative exercises in color correction, touch ups, enhancements, layers and creative design practices and adding text to your images.
**Students are strongly recommended to bring their personal laptops for this course. We encourage students to download a trial version of Photoshop from Adobe |
