On Location Portraiture

Description

This class will travel students around Uptown Charlotte and to local parks to discover the variety of ways a photographer uses creativity and resolves challenges while shooting on location. From lighting to color balance to posing clients in strange locations, this course will allow students to practice hands-on with guidance from a professional photographer. Students will learn professional techniques using electronic flash and on-location studio lighting. Class sessions will introduce students to master works by commercial photographers, on location photography gear, and best approaches for various body types and facial structures. This class offer the opportunity to thoroughly develop students' own individual portfolios.
